Tom Mayall

Paralegal

Tom graduated from Queen Mary University of London with a 2.1 LLB Honours in 2008, with a first class in Evidence Law. In 2010 he obtained a ‘Very Competent’ in his Bar Vocational Course, with 91% in Criminal Practice.

In 2009, Tom volunteered for the Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative, in their Accra office, which covers the region of West Africa. Whilst he was there, he worked to promote human rights in Ghana and also represented clients in a range of human rights and criminal cases. Later in 2009 Tom worked as an intern for an Attorney based in Houston Texas. Whilst in Texas, Tom helped prepare defence cases in a number of Capital Murder trials and Appeals against the death penalty.

Tom has worked as a Solicitors Clerk on high profile VHCC cases and has also worked as a case worker for the Citizens Advice Bureau.

Tom works on a full range of crown court and youth court matters. He regularly liaises with clients, counsel and expert witnesses. He aspires to become a Barrister.
