Lucy Watson is a criminal law defence paralegal and caseworker.
Lucy completed her LLB (2:1) in Manchester and has gained valuable experience clerking trials in the Crown Court. A career driven paralegal, working towards gaining police station accreditation, Lucy is also going to commence her LPC in September 2011.
Whilst working closely with the firm’s senior partner, Lucy prepares high profile Crown Court cases for trial. Lucy thrives in consulting and advocacy and regularly liaises with clients, expert witnesses and counsel.
When Lucy is not hard at work she has a keen interest in public speaking, debating and politics. A former champion of the Derbyshire Pubic Speaking competition, and co-founder of the Manchester Metropolitan debating society, she is pursuant of local and national politics and has lobbied her local MP in parliament. With curiosity in British history, Lucy spends her weekends cycling around the British coast and visiting historical sights.
